I was born and raised in Bellaire, Ohio. I graduated in 1996 from Mount Union College with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Economics and Political Science. I began working with Belmont County Department of Job and Family Services in 2001. After working in various departments within BCDJFS, I began working as a case manager in children services in 2004. During my time working in children services, I earned a Master’s Degree in Human Services from Capella University. I moved from a case manager position to foster care specialist and adoption assessor in 2007. I thoroughly enjoy working with foster families, and as a former foster parent myself can relate to many of the stresses that parents are experiencing.
